A Church Council is elected annually to administer church life at St Andrew's. The Council meets bi-monthly to consider all aspects relating to worship, and matters relating to property, finances and functions. The matters relating to worship are considered in conjunction with a report received from the Elders group on their involvement with pastoral care and worship activities.
At each meeting the Council receives a comprehensive report from the minister relating to worship services, recent activities, coming services and any matters relating to membership, baptisms, weddings or funerals. All Elders are members of the Church Council and the other members are voted onto the Council by the congregation. The Council's executive is comprised of the chair, secretary, treasurers (2) and the minister.
